Promote FIRST to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand Office
While we were attending our second regional in Baltimore, Maryland we also made a stop at the Capitol building where we met with Senator Gillibrand’s office to tell them about FIRST. We showed them our Chairman’s Award presentation and they enjoyed hearing about how FIRST has effected our lives.
First Aid Gift Bags Made for All FLR Teams
At FLR, Team 340 greeted all the teams by making First Aid bags. Safety first!
Chairman’s Presentation “How To” Talk with Team 1111
While at our second regional competition in Baltimore, Maryland, FIRST Team 1111 approached us and asked for advice about their Chairman’s Presentation and outreach. We spent three hours talking with them and even were able to show them our presentation. We have also helped brainstorm new ideas for outreach in their area. This friendship has lasted past the competition and we are still in contact, helping them prepare for next year.
