Amerks Demo

This year we focused on presenting FIRST as a sport. We presented demonstrations for local sports teams such as the Rochester Americans Hockey Team. It was really fun having the mascots and fans drive our robots before the Amerks game. We were also invited back to do demo’s for additional games.

the CEO Hour, January 21st 2011. Hear more about the support the organization provides to help girls live up to this mission. Girl Scouts of Western New York currently serves approximately 9,000 adult volunteers and 20,000 girls.  Adult volunteers conduct a variety of age-appropriate programs and opportunities for girls at the troop and service unit level.  Girls also participate in council-wide projects. Girl Scouts of Western New York is one of over 300 councils organized and chartered in the United States to administer and develop Girl Scouting within its geographic jurisdiction.

New Mascot for Team 340?

There has been a lot of discussion about creating / finding a new mascot for the team. Comment here with your ideas, questions, and concerns. (: Upload pictures. List websites where you see things. (The only reason for this topic is for discussing ideas and what direction we want to go in) This is to make sure that the “Tiger Bunny Issue” forum topic doesn’t become unbearably long and stays on topic as well.
