The Churchville Lions Club has supported the Churchville-Riga area for 60 years by running a medical loan closet, a food pantry and supporting local Boy Scout troops, Girl Scout troops, 4-h groups and providing scholarships to Churchville-Chili graduates. For several years the club has supported team 340 by donating a spot for a booth at the Churchville Lions Country Fair. For the last two years the Churchville Lions Club has provided monetary support. In addition to this support the Club has donated the use of their equipment and member’s time, to allow team 340 to do a chicken barbeque fundraiser. The Paul H Maffett Family decided to become a Team 340 sponsor after years of watching the growth and excitement that being involved with FIRST® brought their grandson. Looking for someway to help the program in a way they could, they left the use of their sponsorship donation in the hands of their grandson. So far this donation has helped buy buttons for both FLL and FRC teams, helped sponsor a golf tournament, and was used to promote a Regional FLL Qualifier. The Paul H.
