The Website Award recognizes excellence in student-designed, built and managed FIRST team websites. Eligible websites were judged and scored prior to this competition by an independent panel of judges. Two subcategories of website awards are evaluated each year. Teams from today’s events who’s website meet the FIRST website design standards of excellence will receive a Website Excellence award by email after Championship. What I will present today is the Best Website Award for the Finger Lakes Regional. In addition to being honored as the best website at this event, this team’s website will go on to compete for the Best Website award at Championship regardless of whether or not the team attends Championship.
The Best Website for the Finger Lakes Regional was described by the evaluators as an excellent website with great layout and quality content. This site is used effectively for team communication and actively promotes other FRC teams and FIRST programs.
