Team 340

Based out of Churchville-Chili Senior High and sponsored by Bausch & Lomb, Team 340 is in its eighth year of involvement with FIRST Robotics. The 2008 FIRST Robotics competition "FIRST Overdrive" is in full swing. We will be competing at the Finger Lakes Regional Competition where the team has earned the coveted Chairman's Award for two years in a row, as well as the Engineering Inspiration Award. We will also be traveling to Atlanta, GA for the FIRST Championship event in April.

This year's Greater Rochester Robotics's second competition team, Team 424, is still going strong with a whole new lineup of rookie students. Team 424 serves as a training ground for GRR members. Between the two teams we have almost 40 student members and over 25 engineering and non-engineering mentors.

We are also a President's Circle Team selected for our innovative ways of spreading the message of FRC, as a resource for other teams and for our dedication to community service.
