Game Play Rules:
During game play robots may only possess one ball at a time, but they may herd or kick multiples balls at once. When a ball is being possessed by a robot, it must remain in contact with the floor. The human players of each alliance must return scored balls to the field in a quick, but safe, manner. Only one robot is permitted to play defense in front of an opponent’s goal at a time.
Rules for the Robots:
At the start of the match robots must be no greater than 28" x 38" x 60" in size. During the last 20 seconds of the game, or the “Finale”, the robot must not exceed 7’ in diameter or 90” in height. Excluding the batteries and bumpers, the weight must not exceed 120 lbs.
